If you're ready to embark on a fulfilling journey, apply now and be part of a truly extraordinary team.An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who has what it takes to succeed in a dynamic and challenging role within a cross functional team and organisation.The primary purpose of this position is to inquire into and report on alcohol licensing applications, and to monitor and promote compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 (the Act), to ensure Rotorua Lakes Council's obligations under the Act are met.To be successful in this role, you will have:Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, bylaws, codes of practice, standards, and practicesProven problem-solving skills and ability to resolve difficult or escalated issuesCustomer service ethic and sense of personal ownership and responsibilityHighly organised, plans and prioritises well and manages time to focus self and others on the most important activitiesDemonstrated change leader in a dynamic and demanding environmentStrong track record of delivering results and innovation in a high public profiles environmentExcellent at building partnerships and collaboration with internal and external stakeholdersProven high level of skills of influencing and relationship development skillsHigh level of skills in issues management an resolutionPersonal resilience: able to sustain a high level of energy and positivity during times when the individual, the organisation or the group is under extreme pressureWell-developed interpersonal and relationship skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to give evidence in a court settingFull and clear NZ driver's licenceThis is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career and be part of a progressive team.
