Case Manager - Taupo Permanent, Full time Monday - Friday 37.55 hours per week – 8.25 am – 5.00 pm Face to face case management Source employment and training pathways for clients Salary range starting $66,660 with annual progression About the role As a Case Manager you help clients access a wide range of tailored support. This face-to-face Case Management position includes having in-depth discussions with clients to uncover opportunities for employment and financial independence as appropriate.
You provide a range of support such as addressing housing instability through early intervention to secure tenancy, employment, vocational and training pathways that are aligned to individual needs.
You will also work on the housing and income support queue and ensure that clients are supported financially and receiving their full and correct financial entitlement.
You partner with clients to help them navigate through changing labour markets and opportunities, with the goal of securing sustainable employment.
What skills do I need to be a Case Manager? You need to be able to have great time-management skills and make good decisions. Strong relationship and negotiation skills are desired and the ability to motivate and empower others to overcome barriers in a non-judgmental way.
You need to also be comfortable working in a fast paced, pressured environment and enjoy navigating through unexpected challenges.
You need to have strong facilitation, planning and organisational skills.
