We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

Developing and delivering the strategy and vision for the GSK NZ Innovative Medicines business ensuring alignment with global GSK strategic priorities.

Directing and driving successful launches of new assets and delivering optimal sales and growth for strategic HIV and respiratory medicines.

Responsibility for the financial performance of the Innovative Medicines business unit including: setting the ambition, resource allocation, accurate forecasting, and overall P&L management.

Acting as a role model demonstrating our GSK values and expectations to internal employees and external stakeholders in the medical, payer, and patient communities.

Being a strong and committed strategic partner to the New Zealand Medical Director, to ensure best possible launches for pipeline assets.

Keeping up to speed on developments in HIV and respiratory therapeutic areas including a detailed and current understanding of the disease and treatment landscape & competitor activity as well as keeping up to date with GSK pipeline products and activities.

Attracting, recruiting and retaining high calibre team members. Providing effective management and leadership of direct and indirect reports including coaching and career development discussions.

Building strong relationships with cross functional partners (Regulatory, Market Access, Medical, Legal & Compliance)

Contributing to broader enterprise-wide issues and opportunities via the NZ Pharma Leadership team.

An experienced and strategic commercial leader with an applied understanding of the NZ healthcare/pharmaceutical landscape.

Proven recent success in a senior sales and marketing leadership role with repeated new product launch experience with strategic specialty assets.

Well-developed financial acumen including experience in P&L management.

Excellent business partnering skills and ability to influence across boundaries and a broad range of cross functional regional and global stakeholders.

A superior motivator, communicator, team builder and leader
