Anew is an award-winning disruptive company creating sustainable solutions to bottled water alongside enabling other businesses to be more sustainable through offering its end to end circular packaging solutions.We are proud to be leaders in sustainability and on the forefront of innovation.Our anew bottles of water are distributed throughout Aotearoa to supermarkets, health food stores, tourism outlets, cafes and service stations. We are now starting to explore exporting to select locations.Our business has grown rapidly in the last 12 months, with a focus on the NZ market. To support this, we are on the lookout for a highly motivated and driven head of sales to join our ever-growing team to lead and drive sales within New Zealand and potentially abroad. The role is part time, but could be full time based on the candidate.You must have strong relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of the NZ F&B sales space in New Zealand, and a proven track record in driving sales growth. International sales experience is a bonus.The role has the potential to be full time for the right candidate.What you'll doDevelop and execute a strategic sales plan for the New Zealand market, aligned with the brand values and business strategy.Build and nurture relationships with key retailers in New Zealand, including all major supermarket groups, distributors, hotels, events and other market segments where anew operates.Set sales objectives, targets and incentives for in-market sales representativesIdentify and capitalise on new business opportunities, including strategic distribution partnerships, to expand the brand's presence in New Zealand.Collaborate with the CEO/COO to drive custom bottle salesMeet and exceed sales revenue goals and profitability targets in New Zealand.Plan and execute promotional activities across all retail channels, ensuring effective implementation and ROI.Prepare regular sales reports, analytics, and findings for the Board and key stakeholders.Attend meetings, trade shows, and industry events to represent the brand and strengthen customer relationships.Develop price strategies for each retail distribution channel, taking into account brand priorities, competition and margins.What you'll need4+ years of direct experience working for a fast-growing FMCG brand, preferably in a small to medium sized business environment.Proven success in driving sales growth in major distribution networks and retailers in New ZealandStrong collaboration skills, working closely with brand and marketing to develop comprehensive and strategic distribution plans.Willingness to travel for critical retail partnerships and market visits.Excellent presentation skills, able to convey relevant information to customers and key stakeholders effectively.Strong understanding of commercial and financial strategy.Background in values-driven brands in the better-for-you and better-for-planet space, such as B Corps.A passion for people, innovation and sustainability.The perksAn opportunity to have fun and build your career with a fast growing award-winning innovative business.Opportunities to own the role and make your stamp on our business.Being part of a tight-knit, hard-working team that enjoys a laugh, the outdoors and supporting one-another.Work-life balance – the opportunity to work from home on some days.Salary: Salary will be based on experience.Hours: FlexibleStart date: FlexibleLocation: Applicants ideally based in Auckland, strong applicants outside the region may be considered.Applications close: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.Your application will include the following questions:How many years' experience do you have as a Head of Sales?How many years of sales management experience do you have?Report this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.Researching careers?
