Administration Support Officer Health - Arohata PrisonAbout this roleArohata Women's Prison - Health Services are seeking a dedicated individual for office administrationKey responsibilities: Accurate medical information management and team supportNga kawenga |About the role We are in search of a dedicated and self-driven individual who can actively engage in various office administration tasks for Arohata Prison Health Services team.
The key duties of this position include ensuring the precise recording and upkeep of medical information. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for supporting the team in day-to-day administrative tasks, such as managing reception duties, internal and external schedules, appointments, travel bookings, and maintaining databases.
This role offers both rewards and challenges in an environment that will push your skills while providing continuous support.
You will possess a strong working knowledge of computerised systems and adept keyboard skills. Your capacity to develop and enhance operational efficiencies will be a key asset, and familiarity with SAP will be highly valued. Having knowledge of health systems and medical terminology would be advantageous. Practical experience in utilising MedTech, along with proficiency in Word and Excel, is a prerequisite. You should be capable of showcasing excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with a high level of expertise in customer service.
The salary range for this positon is step 1 $59,717 and step 2 $63,434.Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
Ara Poutama Aotearoa (Department of Corrections) Health Services lead the delivery of patient-focused primary health care services to tangata within corrections facilities across Aotearoa.Hokai Rangi , our over-arching strategic direction, places the focus on health at the heart of our business.Building our frameworks from a Matauranga Maori basis is our focus to drive and support equity for Maori, which in turn will contribute to achieving our outcomes of reducing reoffending.
We're also bringing in new ways of working to help us deliver Hokai Rangi, with a range of new roles being formed as part of The Pathway ForwardTe Ara Whakamua.
