We are seeking a Kaituitui Ratonga Whenua | Whenua Services Coordinator based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington).
Permanent, Full timeBased in Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington)5 weeks annual leaveSo that the foundations of ancestral lands may be solid, benefitting Maori from our past, present and future alike. This is Te Tumu Paeroa, guardian, support and advancer of the mana of Maori land everywhere.
Our role is to provide professional trustee services for Maori. We do this by carrying out the terms of trusts and ensuring the whenua is protected and enhanced for future generations.
It is an exciting time for our organisation. A significant change programme has been undertaken and we have recently stood up a new operating model which is aligned to our strategic priorities.
Based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, this role is responsible for supporting the Whenua Services Team, who as a whole ensure farms, orchards, crops and forests are being well managed. In this role, your responsibilities will include:
Working closely with the Whenua Services team and supporting the Kaihautu Ratonga Whenua | Whenua Services managerBuilding effective relationships with key stakeholders including Farm Managers/Supervisors, Orchard/Crop Managers/Supervisors, Forest Managers.Support the Kaihautu Ratonga Whenua in planning, monitoring and reporting of financial informationPreparing documentation and completion of follow up activities to a high standard2-3 years' experience in agribusiness/ farming.A relevant agribusiness or agriscience qualification.A strong understanding of operating farm systems and farm management.Good working knowledge of dairy and drystock farm operations.Understanding of farm financial accounts.Ability to build and foster strong relationships, both internal and external with specific reference to on-farm teams, including farm supervisors.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Dynamics NAV, SharePoint and/or M365 is a bonus.A desire and ability to practise correct pronunciation of Te Reo Maori is essential.Eligibility to work in New Zealand is essential.A supportive, collaborative working environment5 weeks annual leaveReasonable sick leaveTraining and development opportunitiesHe pehea te tono | How to apply You can apply via SEEK or email us on ******.
