About the Role We have a position available for a parttime Accounts Office Assistant to join our team who will look after the office in general and be willing to assist a small team We expect the person to be reliable and patient with a positive attitude able to multitask and display common sense What we are looking for Ideally you will have at least 12 year experiences in a similar position You are expected to have good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Additional experience in MYOB or Crystal Payroll is an advantage Fluent in English with good communication skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy NZ Resident or Citizen only Responsibilities Preparing Wages Preparing invoices and accounts payable for approval Coding bank transactions for GST purposes Undertaking general office support tasks filing of all purchases including entering them on a job cost template Ordering stock and ensuring office equipment and stock utilized at each job sites are available in the yard at all times Filing documents and employee information accordingly Ensure health and safety documents and minutes are maintained Supporting directors and other senior staff with their daily tasks when needed Complete additional tasks as requested Opportunities and Benefits Flexible Hours Potential for a fulltime role Full training provided Learn about the construction and demolition industry
