Yardperson /Inwards Goods Customer Service RepresentativeIn this dynamic and physically demanding position your expertise in forklift operation will be invaluable across our dry shed, panel, and timber yard store sections at CARTERS HAMILTON. Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously inspect, receive, and document all product and stock movements within the branch and deliver top-notch service to our trade customers.
Your focus on maintaining a high level of service will be crucial in meeting our trade customers' needs and facilitating their search for the desired products.
Conduct detailed inspections and accurately document all incoming goods, ensuring precise barcoding and pricing records are maintained.Loading and offloading vans and delivery trucks.Expertly assist customers in picking, assembling and loading suitable products, while also managing sales documentation processing.Apply freight charges and organise credit documentation.Monitor yard stock levels, conducting daily audits of stock receipt and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure adequate supplies are available.About you You will excel in this position based on your aptitude, background, and commitment to the following skills, experience, and values:
