ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Dispatcher / Counter Sales, you will be responsible for:
• Scheduling drivers and organizing the daily dispatch of all equipment for the branch;
• Strategically planning your day to ensure machines are delivered to site in a timely manner while upholding a professional service at all times;
• Load and unload equipment, assist with deliveries and prepare equipment for rental;
• Arrange all truck movements including liaising with other Branches regarding inter-branch movements, drop-offs, pick-up’s, as and when required;
• Perform record keeping as needed;
• Maintain customer relations via phone and email and making additions, cancellations, and changes regarding equipment location;
• Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customer needs;
• Determine equipment available for rental;
• Follow proper cash accounts procedures.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful applicant must have:
• Dispatch and customer service experience in the equipment rental/construction industry and/or related field;
• Positive attitude;
• Professional phone manner;
• Excellent verbal communication;
• Clean Full Drivers License & drug screen required;
• Demonstrate understanding of rental equipment;
• Demonstrate understanding of rental software / Insphire;
• Demonstrate the ability to follow operational procedures;
• Strong customer service orientation;
• Effective organisational and communication skills
