Lead and inspire a team dedicated to delivering exceptional care, fostering inclusivity and building long-lasting relationships!  Lead clinical excellence and care for our residents living with dementia Annual performance & salary reviews, stable shifts, and strong support network $3,000 - $4,000 relocation assistance available to relocate to beautiful Tauranga About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our nursing leadership team as a Unit Coordinator within the Special Care Unit at our lovely Bob Owens Village located in Bethlehem, Tauranga. The role includes working Sunday to Thursday, 0730 - 1600.
As a Unit Coordinator, you will use your nursing and people skills to:
Provide leadership, coaching, and support to your team, ensuring care is always "good enough for mum and dad"Foster the Ryman culture which promotes a safe and enjoyable work experience for your teamEnsure all care is continuously assessed, planned, implemented, and evaluated to meet the needs of each resident Create lasting relationships by actively engaging with resident's families/whanau, visitors, Allied Health Professionals, and local DHBEnsure your team embraces a range of beliefs, ethnicities, gender, sexuality, and principles of Te Tiriti o WaitangiPerform and support your nursing team to conduct interRAI assessmentsCommunicate effectively and efficiently with your team that promotes respect and trustProvide support to your Clinical Manager and Village ManagerIntermittently provide additional time outside rostered hours to attend events, support team members or residents and familiesAbout You To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:
InterRAI training or willingness to gain competencyExperience as a Senior Registered Nurse or Nursing LeaderKnowledge and practice of working with people living with dementia The ability to lead, share knowledge and motivate your teamKindness, compassion, and drive, to deliver exceptional care to our residentsFlexibility to share responsibilities of the on-call component with other Unit CoordinatorsAbout Bob Owens Retirement Village Bob Owens Retirement Village has beautiful views of Bethlehem where the village is located close to the town centre and features panoramic views including The Mount and Harbour.
