Objective The Training Manager specialises in quality, compliance, and training delivery. Playing a crucial role in guiding and nurturing a diverse team of trainers across the Central North Island. This role encompasses both in-house and contracted trainers.  Your goal is to effectively utilize the distinct talents and knowledge of each trainer to ensure the successful implementation and evaluation of specialized training programs. Where You Will Sit Within the Team Collaboration : You'll work closely with the Regional Manager and the regional team daily, aiming to achieve the goals outlined in the company's strategic, business, and program plans. Logistics and Compliance : You're responsible for managing equipment logistics, overseeing purchasing, and ensuring that training centres adhere to compliance standards. Leadership and Training Delivery : Your primary responsibility is to lead your team in delivering training across the region. Growth and Values : You and your team will work together to broaden the scope of training services offered while upholding our core values of Safety, Certainty, and Productivity. What You Need to Have This position requires a dynamic leader who can extract the best out of their team. The ideal candidate will possess: Proven Leadership Experience: A track record of effectively leading, motivating, and managing a team. Operational Management Experience: A solid background in operational management, a training or educational background is advantageous but not essential. Passion for Vocational Education: A strong passion for vocational training and education. Commitment to Quality and Continuous Improvement: A dedicated commitment to excellence and continual enhancement in training delivery. Strong Computer Literacy: High proficiency in using software and digital tools for efficient management, delivery, and assessment of training programs.
