This alliance has been set up to plan, organise and deliver much of the recovery and rebuild work needed on the highway and rail networks, together with local businesses and contractors across Te Matau a Maui (Hawke's Bay).Our alliance members include Waka Kotahi, KiwiRail, Downer, Fulton Hogan, and Higgins.We are now looking for an experienced Trainer and VOC Assessor  to join our awesome team in the Hawkes Bay.Within this role, you will support the Training Team in the development and delivery of training initiatives and courses across the Alliance. You will take a lead role in the Verification or Competency (VOC) of Machine Operators as well as ensuring Plant and Equipment have met TRECs minimum compliance standards.You will work well within a team and support in identifying potential capability gaps, people skill & competency levels, refreshers as well as supporting related initiatives across the TREC Alliance.What we need from you:Prior experience in training and or assessment highly desirable.Ability to make sound, fact and evidenced based assessments.Experience in either Construction, Mining, Forestry, Agriculture or similar industry, highly desirable.Good mechanical aptitude or Machine operator experience is highly desirable.Ability to build and develop durable and meaningful relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work well in both a team environment and on your own when required.History of working with people of diverse and inclusive backgrounds.Good understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act is desirable.If you are interested, and would like to learn more, please submit your cv and you will be contacted for a confidential chat.We'll be needing more people as the project work develops so reach out if you have an interest in joining TREC in the future.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?How many years' experience do you have as a Training Coordinator?Do you have a current New Zealand driver's licence?Report this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
