The Associate Clinical Nurse Manager (ACNM) - ICU at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Hutt Valley, Lower Hutt Nau mai, haere mai ki Te Whatu Ora - Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley DistrictService: Intensive Care UnitContract: Permanent part time and full time positions availableWe are looking for a flexible, dynamic and motivated Registered Nurse who is interested in taking the next step into a leadership role is required to join the expanding Intensive Care Unit team at Hutt Hospital.The Associate Clinical Nurse Manager (ACNM) is a supportive role to the Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) with responsibility for the day-to-day clinical coordination of the nursing team to ensure the provision of high quality health care for the patients in the Intensive Care and High Dependency Care Unit.This position enables an effective practice environment through providing clinical and professional nursing leadership, coaching and supervision as required. The position involves strong clinical leadership and the use of expert knowledge and skills in the management of patients to ensure that clinical practice is of a consistent standard and to enable staff to advocate for patients of the service. The role involves providing direct patient care as required and management of all ICU equipment.
