Technical Writer - Integrated Asset ManagementOrion has some exciting things happening as they kick-starttheir Integrated Asset Management project. There is some challenging workahead, and as the Technical Writer for the project on a 2 year-fixed termcontract, you'll be a key part of the project's success.
As our Technical Writer (IAM), you will create accurate and comprehensivetechnical (asset management) documentation while being able to organise contentfor a wide and diverse audience. A key aspect of this role is the collaborationyou'll create with wider business and end users within the IAM programme.

The role Develop comprehensive asset management documentationfor the IAM's processes while collaborating with asset managersEngage with IAM's asset management, networkdevelopment, electrical engineering and network operations teamProduce technical documentation for electricaldistribution networks, electrical engineering principles and network operationsImplement version control for IAM's technicaldocumentation, managing repositories to ensure access the latest versionsMaintain consistent writing style, formatting andterminology across IAM's technical documentationProvide training sessions to internal IAM teams ondocumentation best practicesAbout you Minimum 5 years' experience as a TechnicalWriter with a relevant degree or proven experience within a utility or assetmanagement fieldAbility to convey complex technical informationto a wide and intended audienceStrong attention to detail ensuring precisionand accuracy in technical documentationAbility to collaborate and build excellentrelationships ensuring 'best for business' outcomesSolution and outcome focused while beingcomfortable with ambiguity and the ability to analyse opportunities and risksFlexibility to understand and adapt to technicaldomains, industries and evolving technologiesWe offer You'll find at Orion, you can come as you are and just beyou.
