We seek the services of a motivated, enthusiastic person to grow our sales across new and existing customers. This is an interesting and exciting role that will challenge your technical creativity and sales abilities while learning from the global leaders of OCR technology.
Responsibilities include:
Managing and developing the sales for the company ANPR and ID reader product portfolio.
Consultative selling to systems integrators across New Zealand and Australia. Providing professional expertise and assistance in designing and developing value-added solutions.
Calculating & costing client quotations. Negotiating contracts, T&Cs with stakeholders. Preparing tender documentation.
Preparing and conducting technical presentations, workshops and training.
Participation in marketing activities, campaigns and content creation.
Planning and executing market research to drive decision making. Identifying technology trends that support the product development and ultimately success of the business.
Preparing information for sales forecasts. Competitor analysis based on sales and technical aspects.
Organising and attending trade shows and exhibitions.
Managing the product deliveries and RMA processes.
Accurately recording data in the company CRM and ATSS systems.
Knowledge and skills required:
Proven successful record of technical sales and marketing achievements in a similar industry.
A background in technical sales & account management.
Strong commercial awareness, technical acumen, strategic thinking.
A high level of written & oral communication, negotiation and selling skills.
Professionalism in the use of Microsoft products. Excel, Word and PowerPoint in particular.
Ability and confidence to communicate and present to a diverse audience of stakeholders across all levels of business.
Results/Achievement orientation, teamwork and co-operation.
Ability to self-manage in an environment where multiple priorities compete for time. Organisational skills. Project management experience.
Interpersonal understanding, ability to relate well to others.

It is preferred that the applicant has:
Experience and interest in ANPR SW and cameras, ID reading technologies and multi-sensor ITS solutions.
Technical competence, some programming knowledge and understanding of the TCP/IP fundamentals.
An engineering-based Degree or similar qualification.
