About the Role
We’re looking for a Technical Business Analyst (BA) to join us on some exciting projects where you’ll get to utilize your SDLC expertise, attention to technical detail, along with your general all-round awesome BA skills. This role involves understanding the technical solution, requirements gathering and influencing decisions within the Software Engineering group.
It’s common for us to implement agile squads with cross functional teams where the business analyst gets the opportunity to perform a variety of roles including Scrum Master, QA, technical design. Working within our Application Services line of business, your skills will be used across a wide breadth of challenging and leading-edge projects.
What you’ll do:
Establish and drive business and technical requirements gathering
Work closely with developers and testers, project managers and business to define the technical requirements
Create documentation i.e. use cases, prototypes, technical specifications
Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and internally
Enjoy working in a cross-functional team, taking on a variety of analyst roles, and have the ability to flex between business and technical
About you:
Pivotal for success in this team is your commitment to Agile principles and practices, along with a passion for driving the customer experience on technically-lead projects. And of course, key is the ability to communicate with stakeholders to elicit requirements and seek opportunities to improve their business.
Your background:
Business analyst with experience delivering enterprise projects
Ability to influence stakeholder relationships and drive team performance
Development background and/or knowledge of the SDLC
Excellent technical and business documentation and communication skills
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, preferably able to play the role of scrum master in small teams
