The Role We're looking for aTeam Leader - Project Managementwithin ourCapital Delivery team- delivering a range of transport improvement projects, from minor safety through to larger capital projects.
In this role, you'll be leading a team that will deliver a range of transport-related projects, taking into account the wider strategic goals of the Council.
Leadership will be a key component, building a constructive and collaborative team culture, and ensuring best practice project management principles. You'll identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, and develop a high performing team.
You'll need a relevant project/programme/portfolio management qualification (eg Prince2, PMI MSP etc) or equivalent experience.
We're looking for proven project management experience at a Practice Manager level, great communication skills, the ability to build and maintain strong networks and relationships, and solid leadership skills. Ideally, you'll also be across the NZTA/Waka Kotahi business case process.
