Team Leader for Community / District NursingTe Mahi/About the Position In this role you will be working with a of Team of Registered Nurse Coordinators to ensure quality nursing care is delivered to the people of Canterbury. To do this you will be able to work alongside and manage teams of nurses to ensure they are supported to deliver excellent nursing care in the community.
He momo/About you  You will be a Registered Nurse with:
The ability to provide mentorship, support, and education to a team of RN's, EN's and HCA'sA strong interest and experience in community nursingDemonstrated nursing leadership in the pursuit of nursing excellence.Flexibility, no two days are the same.Ability to work in an office/clinic setting and in the community.Clinical skillsA valid work visa, current practicing certificate and full driving licenseExperience in the following fields of nursing would be very beneficial.
Palliative careComplex and non-complex wound careI.V.A.B and CVAD managementMedication managementCritical thinking approach regarding service delivery and nursing cares initiated.A whole system approach to the delivery of careBe able to work in and lead a team.Our service operates seven days a week and the availability to work weekends is essential.
