Te Kaitiaki a Hina - Programmes Coordinator Community Development (Community Services & Development) Te Tohu o Te Ora o Ngati Awa is one of the largest Iwi providers of integrated social, health and education services in the Eastern Bay of Plenty. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Programme Coordinator (30 hours per week) to oversee the coordination and implementation of various programmes aimed at promoting health and well-being within our community. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing programme activities, liaising with service delivery, managers, stakeholders, and ensuring the effective delivery of services to support the goals of Te Tohu O Te Ora O Ngati Awa. The Programme Co-Ordinator will assist with managing our sponsorship initiatives. Skills & Abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Competence and flexibility in working with family, whanau, hapu, Iwi, or family group. A basic understanding of te reo Maori, a working knowledge of Maori world views, process and tikanga. Excellent communication – oral and written. Ability to work with a diverse range of people,groups, and community organisations and to maintain effective relationships. Proven experience in sponsorship coordination, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of netball or sports sponsorship is a plus. Understands the impactof their own values and frameworks on their practice, and the importance of respectfully engaging with the values and belief systems of others. Established communityknowledge and networks. Demonstrated abilityto write reportsand plans to a high standard. What is on offer?
