Supply Chain Analyst

12-month fixed-term contract Based in PenroseThe Concrete Division comprises Fletcher Building’s aggregate, cement, and concrete businesses, employing over 1300 people across 3 business units.Golden Bay Cement operates New Zealand’s only cement manufacturing plant, with an annual production capacity in excess 860,000 tonnes. The operation includes the processing plant, two quarries, and distribution sites throughout New Zealand.We have an exciting fixed term opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our team based in Penrose.
The role
Reporting directly to the S&OP Inventory Manager – Golden Bay Cement, you will be covering the roles of our current Supply Chain Analyst and Customer Service Representative during the implementation of a new JDE project.Your key responsibilities in this role will be to
Accurately measure sales forecast and work with the Sales team to continuously improve their accuracy
Monitor and maintain GBC MRP model. Place and organise replenishment orders from overseas vendors for flyash and microsilica and bagging volumes for NZ market
Review inventory accuracy through stock checks and recommend improvements
Implement strategies for inventory and cost optimisation
Provide customer support to enhance our NPS rating and maintain DIFOT score
Manage and reconcile stock inventory by ensuring documentation are raised accurately and closed in a timely
Follow up with our carrier provider for any outstanding POD
Co-ordinate fleet deliveries to optimise time and costs
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring with you a proven track record in Supply Chain within a manufacturing organisation and a relevant business or operations management degree. Experienced with advanced inventory management, forecast and/or planning is also preferred.You have solid experience with an ERP system, you are customer-centric, have advanced Excel skills and are adept at sourcing and analysing information from multiple channels.Vital to your success in this role is your ability to develop mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders and your exceptional communication skills across the wider business.
