About the role: In this role you will take accountability for providing the operational management and leadership of the kindergarten, ensuring rolls and staffing are well managed. Professional management practices and strong relationships with whaanau are key to the success in this role.
Skills and experience within your kete should include: Providing effective operational management and leadership to support the success of the organisationDemonstrate effective communication skills and foster respectful, responsive, reciprocal relationships across all aspects of the role The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment To understand a team approach to teaching practices and positive learning outcomes for tamariki To be experienced in supporting children's social and emotional competence Capable of working closely with whaanau to build and maintain respectful, reciprocal, and responsive relationships Confidence in reflective practices and competency with all written documentation The ability to work to high standard of professionalism Applicants must have a Dip Tchg (ECE) minimum qualification, a current first aid certificate and be certificated by the Education Council.
