Key Duties & Responsibilities Managing a varied caseload end-to-end
Provide social work interventions
Actively triage, day-to-day
Conduct a range of relevant assessments
Create treatment plans and reports
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation
Support tane to follow their integrated plans
Support tane to reach their identified goals
Provide overall treatment for the tane in your care
Successful Applicants Will Exhibit a high level of competence and ability to assess and treat a wide spectrum of psychological problems in adults
Have an understanding of addiction, and of mental health variables in a forensics setting, including the social and clinical variables associated with major offence categories such as sexual and violent offending
Encompass the knowledge of kaupapa and Tikanga Maori in a Prison environment, and, display a thorough understanding of the principles and contemporary issues related of the Treaty of Waitangi
Requirements Hold a valid FULL registration & APC with the New Zealand Social Workers Board
Have 2+ years of social work experience in an NZ setting
Hold a clean drivers licence
Ability to be authorised and cleared by the MoJ
