Site Manager

Extensive construction management experience required

Expressions of interest are invited from applicants wanting to take the lead role as the Gemco Construction Site Manager in what will be the premium lifecare village in Dunedin. Everything about The Grange Lifecare Village will be exceptional – and the assurance of that starts with the appointment of this crucial leadership role.

We are looking for a construction leader who is an expert in managing large scale construction sites and projects. This is a greenfield project. Stage one is set to commence later this year.

You will be someone who will be given a great deal of autonomy, as Gemco, the construction company managing this build is located in Hawke’s Bay. This will be a great opportunity for someone who has a passion to deliver and drive performance. You will be extremely well supported in terms of all the QS and contract administration which will be delivered from the head office team in Hawke’s Bay. Your core focus will be to ensure the interface and output with all contractors, sub-contractors and other key stakeholders, and to meet programme and completion timeframes to the highest of standards.

Gemco is recognised as specialists in the construction of lifecare villages – with experience in major lifecare projects across the country for the past 18 years.
