Our client is seeking a dynamic and talented Showroom Consultant with a passion for interior window furnishing in our retail store. As a specialist in premium fabric and curtains, the company prides itself on delivering exceptional customer service and exquisite design solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of marketing acumen, design expertise, and outstanding interpersonal skills to engage with their clientele and elevate their brand presence across various platforms. Responsibilities: Customer Interaction & Relationship Building: Build rapport quickly with customers, understanding their design preferences and requirements. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the consultation and design process. Listen attentively to customer needs, offering personalised design solutions and product recommendations. Maintain a personable demeanor and ensure customers feel valued and respected Design Expertise & Creativity: Demonstrate sound knowledge of interior design principles, fabrics, and color theory. Offer creative design ideas and solutions tailored to each customer's style and space. Design and set up stunning window displays in our showroom to attract and inspire customers. Marketing & Social Media: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote their products and services. Manage social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) to engage with the target audience and showcase their work. Create compelling content, including posts, articles, and visuals, to enhance brand awareness. Coordinate advertising efforts in newspapers and radio to reach potential customers Administrative Duties: Manage email correspondence and telephone enquiries promptly and in a professional manner. Liaising with textile and supply representatives to discuss new products, fashion and trends Keep the showroom tidy and organised, maintaining a welcoming environment for customers. Work within a structured environment, adhering to company policies and procedures. Maintain meticulous attention to detail, remembering customer preferences and specifications. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with customers to deliver exceptional service. Contribute positively to our team's culture, fostering a supportive and enjoyable work environment. Provide support to other team members as needed, demonstrating flexibility and reliability. Requirements: An interest in interior design, however not essential, training will be provided. An understanding of marketing, including social media management and advertising. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding client expectations. Attention to detail and ability to remember customer preferences and details. Well-presented, with a customer focused demeanor. Ability to work in a team environment and follow company guidelines. Flexible and reliable, with the willingness to adapt to changing business needs.
