About the Role | Mo te Turanga Are you ready to step up and run a shift? We're looking for a Shift Manager!
You will be an experienced and inspirational people leader that has what it takes to drive the PNRDC operation towards success. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Shift Manager role is responsible for developing our people and ensuring their safety, while providing great service to our stores.
This role has two direct reports who are collectively responsible for achieving high performance and great results with a team of 120+ people.
We're passionate about developing our people so rest assured we'll provide you with extensive and ongoing training to ensure you leave safely after every shift, as well as grow and develop your career.
To succeed in this role you will need to demonstrate your achievements across an operations environment, ideally in a distribution centre / warehouse. You'll have experience in leading multicultural workforces including a unionised workforce and large teams. Your leadership style should be one where you lead by example and have the ability to engage with teams and recognise excellent performance.
You will have excellent planning and problem solving skills and the ability to make strong, confident decisions all the while ensuring your team adhere to and model a commitment to all Primary Connect safety policies, principles and procedures.
