Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support) 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday (occasional weekend cover needed) Mo te tunga | About the role IDEA Services supports people with intellectual disabilities to enjoy great lives as part of their communities. As a Schedule Coordinator you will be scheduling Support Workers to meet on-going roster needs and effectively deliver our support services. This is a vital role to ensure the people we support receive excellent services. You will be preparing advanced rosters as well as filling short-notice sick leave when needed. The ability to build positive relationships will be important as you'll be in frequent contact with our team of Support Workers. You will also work closely with a team of Service Managers to understand their service needs and how these can best be met. While the scheduling aspect of this role is the primary focus you will also have general administration tasks supporting the area office. Previous administration experience required Scheduling or rostering experience is highly desirable Previous experience as a Support Worker would be an advantage but not necessary Excellent verbal and written communication skills The ability to build positive professional relationships internally and externally Confidence with computer systems including Microsoft Office suite, and the aptitude to learn new systems quickly.
