We are currently seeking a proficient individual to assume the role of Service Manager - New Zealand base out of Auckland.
Role Overview:
As the Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fortifying our service operations. Reporting to the Service and Aftermarket Manager Australia and New Zealand, your responsibilities will include cultivating robust relationships with customers, overseeing contractual agreements, optimising revenue streams, and ensuring meticulous management of jobs and business operations.
Scope and Geographic Presence:
The scope of this strategic role currently extends across three North Island sites including Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga and one South Island site.
This strategic role extends beyond traditional service management. You will be entrusted with consolidating existing accounts while proactively identifying growth opportunities within both new and established customer bases.
Key Responsibilities: Enhance customer service processes and establish strategic customer relationships.Lead service supervisors and personnel, optimising service branch assets.Ensure compliance with legal requirements, confidentiality protocols, and occupational health and safety standards.Collaborate with cross-functional departments, including manufacturing, engineering, and sales.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence. Preferred Background: Proven experience in heavy mobile plant and equipment service roles.Mechanical or engineering background.Demonstrated leadership capabilities.Familiarity with the waste or manufacturing industry (preferred).Product knowledge (preferred).Expertise in Auto Electrical and Hydraulics.Skills Profile:
Your skill set should encompass proficiency in customer service, effective communication, strategic implementation, computer applications, and client management. Your expertise in Auto Electrical and Hydraulics will be a valuable asset ideally supported by a relevant trade qualification.
Flexibility and Mobility:
This role offers flexibility, with 70% of your time spent on client sites and the remaining 30% you will have autonomy to manage between working remotely and visiting customers. This unique blend ensures a dynamic work environment, allowing you to actively engage with our clients and identify opportunities for growth.
