Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support) WERA Aotearoa Charitable Trust (WACT) provides high level community development services with the purpose of growing and enhancing the skills, knowledge base and potential of those we serve. We demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in assisting communities, families and individuals towards capability building strategies that are self-sustaining, empowering, and rewarding. Please note a clean, full Drivers Licence is required for this position. Primary objective of this position: This role will provide co-ordination support to ensure staff, stakeholders, tenants and clients, and any other services are managed and maintained effectively. This role will ensure all risks are recorded and managed appropriately to provide a clear and transparent process is used across all services. The Service Co-ordinator will: Provide co-ordination support across all services within the Trust Provide support for staff who work with whanau to identify site/unit configuration Provide support for staff who support whanau to improve health and well-being by working in groups and on on one to find pathways to success that work for the individual. Organise facilitators and venue's for training workshops and seminars Provide support for staff who support whanau transition to their new accommodation if required. This includes: - Assisting with check-in process, health and safety requirements, emergency procedures, and capturing all information required to get whanau into their allocated units. - Work alongside staff to carry out an assessment of their immediate needs and arrange for any services required to meet those needs at induction. Provide support for Housing Navigators to prepare the accommodation by way of managing the meth process, training and ensure the space is free from contamination. Support other kaimahi to work with approved organisations to facilitate stakeholder and provider relationships. Support Housing Navigators to access appropriate support services to address any health, social, employment and financial needs. Resolve any issues or complaints regarding whanau in conjunction with the service Team Leader and Quality Safety Co-Ordinator. Learn aspects of other WACT Housing services to provide cover/additional resources if required.  Ensure accurate records are uploaded to any internal database/systems in a timely manner and are always kept up to date. Create and manage bookings for all services within the Trust Build and maintain strong relationships with sector partners and external organisations relevant to the support requirements of our clients. Make appropriate recommendations as required.
