What you'll be doing: As a Senior UX Designer at AA Insurance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital products and services. You will report to the Digital Product Lead within the Digital Experience team and work closely with Digital Experience, Marketing and Brand. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the business especially with product owners, developers, and the stakeholders to define and execute user-centered design solutions. From concept to execution, you will lead the UX design process, championing user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing to ensure our products meet the needs and expectations of our customers. Key Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end UX design process, from concept to implementation across mobile and web applications.Guide and support user research, gather and leverage existing Insights and data to identify experience opportunities and to inform design decisions, using tools such as surveys, interviews, usability tests, and reporting.Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.Collaborate with product owners/managers and developers to translate business requirements into simple and useful user experiences.Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices across the organisation, fostering a culture of empathy and innovation.Stay up-to-date with the latest UX trends, technologies, and methodologies, and share knowledge with the team.Be curious to understand our customers and business and translate this through your work to deliver best-in-class experiences that bring real value to our customers lives. A bit about you: You have a solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, and enjoy agile ways of working. You're the kind of person that understands the importance of detail but is able to zoom out to the bigger picture. You are a strong communicator with excellent collaboration skills with the ability to effectively present and rationalise design decisions to stakeholders. You will bring extensive experience in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Photoshop or similar. You've got good experience in conducting user research and usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design solutions.
