Senior Ux Designer

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

Raise the capacity, skills and quality of user-centred design across the team.
Interview target audience and record their responses to be archived and be used later in the process
Work with customer experience team research and evaluate user feedback
Collaborate with product m and the IT teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals and overall experience
Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to the development team
Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.

Experience of UX design within the finance or insurance industry
Proven ability in creating digital projects including; concepts, sketching, wireframes, design, quality testing and liaison with front and backend developers
4+ years within a collaborative environment utilising; Wireframing tools, Photoshop, Illustrator, including pencils and paper
Demonstrable UX & UI design skills with a strong portfolio of app-based projects
Create prototypes to show and demonstrate interactions
Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
Expertise across the full Adobe Creative suite
Figma (preferred but not essential), Sketch, Xd or other visual design and wire-framing tools
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
Be comfortable using low fidelity techniques
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development highly desirable
