The role We're looking for a senior engineer who will play a critical role in scaling up our operations. You will be responsible for the following: Taking ownership of our monitoring/observability setup and lead a transition to a more robust, in-depth, and scalable system. Champion the evolution of our DevOps/SRE capability by integrating automated workflows (including CI/CD), ensuring efficiency, and reducing manual intervention. Ensuring SRE principles are followed as we rearchitect our core AI systems for scalability. Developing a strategy for managing a fleet of edge inference devices alongside our AWS cloud infrastructure, using automation to streamline deployment and maintenance. Implementing continuous improvement initiatives, including adopting incident management tools and practices. Participating in incident response and engage in blameless retrospectives to determine approaches for mitigating future incidents. Providing guidance and support to junior engineers to foster their growth in technical leadership. Improving our hiring and onboarding procedures to attract and nurture outstanding engineers. Skills and experience you'll need: 5+ years' experience in relevant software development, infrastructure, or operations roles. Strong experience in building and deploying complex Python applications on Linux. Proficiency with some or all of the following: AWS Cloudwatch, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, git, GitLab CI, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, AWS EC2, AWS S3, AWS SQS. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor other engineers. Why seeo?
