ABOUT THE COMPANY
A well known and respected organisation that are renowned for building successful web and mobile software products, that are notably used by their faithful clients nationally and internationally to keep people safe, are expanding their Christchurch team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be one of two senior developers joining a newly created team, part of a larger established multi-functional development team. You will be focused on continuing the great work that has been done already on their latest products, which has been well received by national clients. They are looking to build further functionality, which you will assist on the creative direction of so that they can reach further into the international market.
DUTIES
Driving continual improvement of architecture design and development
Understanding customer requirements
Assisting in leading design, architecture and coding of new software features
Investigating, troubleshooting and resolving software issues
Mentoring intermediate developers

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Experience in commercial software development
Amazing in JavaScript, Node.js, React, React Native and MongoDB
Great experience in Cloud solutions including Azure and docker
Fantastic at writing automated software tests, unit and automates UI
Experience working in an Agile team
Experience in mobile app development, geospatial mapping, typescript and C# would be fantastic but not a show stopper.
