Te Kaiurungi | About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Application Security Specialist to join us in Wellington. You'll be an integral part of the team responsible for delivering and developing the Bank's security assurance testing programme.
This includes:
Working closely with application teams to ensure application security requirements are addressed and understood at project formation (such as software code review, secure coding and reviewing penetration testing and software code review findings)
Manage and drive a penetration testing programme for Bank applications, including owning the engagement with third party penetration testing providers
Building strong networks and drive a culture shift across BNZ stakeholders to make Application Security a core part of business, project and BAU technology activities
Consulting and making application security design decisions within development teams
O Pukenga | About You
As an experienced information and cyber security professional, you'll have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experiencing providing guidance in an environment of rapid change. You'll also bring:
Proven experience in enterprise software development and application security
A developed awareness of best practice in application security and a drive to self-educate in the field
Knowledge of development build tools and source code systems
Experience in development and/or secure coding practices e.g. OWASP
