Key to enabling our continued growth and success will be our new Senior Security Architect.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of IT Digital Security in Australia, this is a genuine opportunity to influence change and drive/own the cyber security architecture strategy for CountdownX. Working closely with your counterparts in Australia at group level, this is a critical role, key to securing controls across our digital enterprise and underpinning our continued growth and success as a leading digital retailer..
Our new Security Architect will be a senior level technologist - establishing relationships and credibility across not only technical, but non-technical teams including executives. You will guide and influence using Cyber Security design principles and best practice to achieve consistency and compliance to global standards. Specifically, you will be required to :
Produce security solution architecture designs and perform security design reviews for digital projects using Agile and traditional project delivery
Work with the business to identify security requirements
Guide in the production of Cyber Security strategy across the digital businesses compliant to cyber security policy and standards
Provide security architecture guidance to various projects with a mixed deployment model (mainly cloud with some on-premise).
Work with enterprise IT Security Architecture team to develop patterns and standards and implement technical controls.
Design and create cybersecurity best practice processes into the SDLC of all Digital development teams

To be considered, your experience will likely reflect:
Wide exposure to security applications, tools, technologies and an innate interest and passion for what’s going on in the wider market and emerging technology
Strong cyber security, cloud (Azure) software solution architecture experience
A growth mindset and passion for delivering quality technology experiences
Strong leadership capability and proven ability to motivate and inspire
Experience within Agile/DevOps or strong understanding of Agile principles
Analytical skills-the ability to work with large volumes of data and identify trends/regular patterns
Strong commercial experience within large-scale complex technology landscapes
Experience in operating and managing security systems across Network, Endpoint, Log Management and Content Filtering
