This involves building new or refurbishing existing facilities, collaborating with internal experts, external vendors, suppliers, delivery partners, and in-country stakeholders.Ensure projects meet budget, time, and quality targets. Apply sound project management for enhanced resilience in Pacific Meteorological Services.Effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Proactively handle issues and risks, aligning goals, plans, and schedules with project requirements for a smooth project lifecycle.Perform the role in line with the MetService Rautaki Maori; Te Tiriti o Waitangi statement of commitment.Collaborate for project compliance with Health and Safety standards. Mitigate risks effectively, aligning with the company's Safety Management Systems.RequirementsMinimum of eight years' experience in infrastructure project management.In-depth understanding of NZ construction processes and policies.Proven negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successful relationship management.Experience managing projects in the Pacific.Proficiency in leading methodologies and project planning, design, and execution.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Hold a current and valid New Zealand Driver's Licence.We enjoy achieving, we appreciate creativity, and we recognise everyone's unique skills and qualities.
