About the role Powerco has a big focus on analytics and data management and needs highly skilled people like you to turn ideas into reality. Reporting to the Business Intelligence Lead, this role is part of Powerco's wider Business Transformation function and will be pivotal in the success of our Business Intelligence Reporting and Development programme of work.
You will be part of a supportive and fun team made up of internal staff and contractors.You will help to enable the business to improve data-informed decisions and automate processes.You will be part of a major analytical platform modernisation project utilizing some of the latest technologies, working alongside other highly skilled data engineers.This role also focuses on developing the business intelligence capabilities of other team members (via coaching and mentoring) and building out the Analysis & Insights practice to achieve a consistent and excellent service.To be a success in this role, you will need: Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and qualitiesStrong at translating business requirements into a technical design and communication this with stakeholders and/or team membersExperienced with the designing and delivery of data flows and multi-dimensional data modelsExperienced with analysing and resolving data and performance issues5 or more years demonstrated experience in one or more of the following technologiesData ingestion and modelling with BW/4HANA (or BW on HANA)View design using BEX query, HANA view and / or CDS viewSQL development on HANA CloudExperienced with one or more of the following toolsSAP Analytics CloudSAP Analysis for OfficeEvidence of ongoing personal development and learningCoaching and mentoring experience of other team members and analystsIt would be ideal, but not necessary, if you have: Gained experience and if you are comfortable with one or more programming languages such as SQL, Python, ABAP and ABAP-CDSGained experience with the delivery of reports and dashboardsApplications close: Friday 26 April 2024 Our ability to get the best out of people is what sets Powerco apart.
