Senior Planning and Purchasing Specialist We have a newly created role in our amazing supply chain team, Senior Planning and Purchasing Specialist. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the primary purpose of the role is to manage the procurement a portfolio of products across all our well-known stores. You will need to optimise the inventory holding to ensure we have the right amount, of the right product, at the right time, and of the right quality. We need someone who will plan and forecast the purchasing of these products for our restaurants while maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers. We need someone who can jump straight into the role and is ready for the challenge!About the Role:Raise purchase orders and monitor delivery to ensure continuous supply and maintain planned inventory levelsForecast, measure and track daily demand alongside other departments in the company (Operations, Logistics, Marketing etc.) for the supplying of our stores – and respond to unplanned events and delivery mishaps.Develop, co-ordinate and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers across the country, overseeing price and quality assessments and assisting in negotiationsPrepare reports on planning, purchasing and inventory management KPIsWhat we need from you:Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supply chain, procurement, logistics or similar roleA tertiary degree in supply chain management would be helpful but not essentialThe ability to communicate openly and professionally to internal and external parties and build strong relationshipsSomeone with great analytical skills, able to analyse data, evaluate cost/benefits and make recommendations.
