Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Our client is a highly entrepreneurial kiwi organisation with decades of success within their specialist categories across all key partners: retailers, wholesalers and industrial customers. They are ambitious with a clear vision for growth and have the key levers for success in place, most importantly – people!This is a newly created role leading key relationships and negotiations and logistics for the procurement of all goods and services for our client's business. Directly reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be tasked with developing and implementing procurement strategies and planning and providing advice to the wider business in order to achieve key metrics. Day-to-day you will be responsible for achieving best-price across an extensive local and international supplier base and working closely with the supply and demand team and the commercial teams within the business. Additionally, your remit includes identifying areas of opportunity for cost saving and improvement efficiencies, as well as ensuring adherence to systems and reporting requirements.You will be an experienced FMCG purchasing / procurement expert with several years' experience able to quickly integrate into the business and add value from the outset. You will be empowered to take ownership and required to bring your ideas and concepts forward to the team and wider business.
