Where to start… in Digital Channels you get the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, on a Canstar Award winning mobile application in a tima (team) where your voice is heard, and you can make a difference in the day-to-day lives of your development colleagues and in turn everyday New Zealanders.
Tima Tahi are focused on digitising and simplifying the lending experience online. The tima are responsible for providing excellent customer experiences and delivering on business objectives.
This is an Auckland based turanga with three days in the office and two days where you can work flexibly. Anchor days in the office are Monday and Thursday plus an additional day of your choice. We sat down with the People Leader (who you'd report to), and they let us know the following about the turanga:
What are the day-to-day tasks the person will complete? Develop solutions to meet agreed requirements.Contribute to a shared focus on great user experiences.Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, retrospectives, and planning.Undertake testing activities to ensure agree quality standards are met.Monitor and support incidents.What is the tima culture and environment like? Tahi love to innovate, they are a high performing tima that are focused on delivering the best possible digital experience for our customers, The tima have a supportive, friendly, and collaborative culture.
What projects/mahi will the candidate be doing now and into the next year? The tima are working to modernise and simplify the online lending experience for our customers.
What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity? The turanga provides the opportunity to join a community of talented mobile developers with opportunities to collaborate, ako and grow. You will work as part of innovative and customer focused tima striving to deliver brilliant customer experiences. What specific Tech skills are required to be successful? Significant practical experience in development and maintenance of mobile applications.
Thorough understanding of Android SDK, Kotlin, Java, software development and support lifecycles.
