About the Role To augment our manpower resources in the School, we are looking for a suitably qualified candidate to join us. Reporting to the Assistant Senior Manager, the incumbent would be instrumental in assisting in a range of administrative duties that would be needed to be executed in an efficient and effective manner to support the smooth functioning of the unit. This role is offered on a fixed-term, non-renewable contract to end on 30th September 2027, subject to a 6-month probation period. Remuneration is based on a 12-month salary structure, with an annual variable bonus which is subject to the incumbent's performance and the University/School's prevailing remuneration policies. The incumbent will be emplaced at an appropriate appointment grade based on his/her individual merits. Key Duties & Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of specific sectors to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities, contributing to a thorough understanding of the industry landscape. • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government bodies, industry associations, and subject matter experts, to gather qualitative and quantitative data and insights. • Analyze collected data using statistical tools and methodologies to uncover patterns, correlations, and insights that inform our understanding of the sector. • Synthesize findings from research and analysis into clear, concise reports and presentations, highlighting key growth areas, challenges, and strategic opportunities. • Recommend data-driven interventions and strategies to address identified issues, support growth, and enhance industry performance. • Stay abreast of global trends and developments within the sector, ensuring that analysis and recommendations are current and relevant. • Engage in continuous learning and development to enhance skills and knowledge in sectoral analysis and related fields. Requirements: Academic & Professional Certification • A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a reputable university • IT savvy and proficient in MS Office applications Experience & Attributes • Preferably 2-3 years of related working experience; fresh university graduates may be considered • Good verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills with a positive work attitude • Excellent coordination and organisation skills, with a customer-centric mindset • Strong team player who is meticulous, resourceful, resilient and thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented and ambiguous work environment • Experience in working in an education setting will be an added advantage To expedite application processing, a copy of academic certificates and transcripts from GCE O-level onwards should be uploaded via the online application portal.
