Senior Desktop Soe Engineer

H2R Technology are looking for a Senior SOE Desktop Engineer to work within one of New Zealand largest public sector businesses. This business has a geographically distributed workforce, and as such- they’re looking for a Senior Desktop SOE Engineer to join their team.
We’re looking for people that have a demonstrable experience in SOE and O365 who can be responsible for the design & support of this businesses desktop services including; SCCM application and services, packaging applications, Microsoft security patches, building and updating the standard images whilst maintaining the Microsoft 365 suite.
Key Deliverables
Provide Technical expertise on desktop technologies and the design, implementation, configuration and maintenance of the SOE Desktop Architecture.
Provide ongoing operational support for environment as well as participate incident management and problem management activities as they arise.
We’re looking for people that have the following skills and experience
Highly experienced in SCCM – maintain core SCCM functionality & manage deployments to over 5,000 endpoints
Intune experience with SCCM Co-management scenarios and Windows Intune.
Creating, managing and maintaining a Standard Operating Environment (SOE), with all associated policies and procedures
Maintain an application portfolio and certification processes (device and application)
Application packaging, deployment, and troubleshooting (App-V5, PowerShell or MSI)
Task Sequences of the OS and application- (Create, troubleshoot and deploy)
Understand Automated Deployment Rules (ADRs) of software updates via SCCM
Experience with Group Policy, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory & Symantec Cloud offerings
