He angitutanga About the roleWe're looking for an experienced senior internal communications expert to join our small and busy team.You'll need to be a strategic thinker, someone who can see the bigger picture and make connections, able to provide sound advice even under pressure and deliver high quality written work to tight deadlines, and comfortable with ambiguity.You'll have tonnes of energy and your can do' attitude and resilience will mean you can stay calm and shift priorities to lean in wherever the need is on any given day.You'll be providing internal communications advice and support across a number of portfolios and change initiatives, so you'll need to be able to quickly build relationships and an understanding of our organisational priorities and operating context.Nga pukenga me nga wheako Skills and experienceTo be considered for this role, you'll need to show you can :Provide high quality & credible internal communications advice.Plan, lead, and deliver clear and compelling communications and strive for excellence.Ground your work in evidence, measure outcomes, and identify and implement opportunities for continual improvement.Build strong relationships with a diverse range of people, including senior leaders, and be seen as a trusted strategic advisor.Write clear, compelling and user-focused communications, and be able to spot a great story opportunity.Understand how the Maori Crown relationship is important to DOC.
