Senior Auditor or Assistant Audit Manager roles at Audit New Zealand, Canterbury Senior Auditor or Assistant Audit Manager roles Audit New Zealand carries out annual audits of public organisations on behalf of the Auditor-General. Our clients include for-profit and public benefit entities in the central government and local government sectors.
We're looking for CA (or equivalent) qualified people with external audit experience who are committed to delivering the highest-quality audit services to our clients.
As a Senior Auditor, you need to have at least three years' financial auditing experience and be close to, or have recently completed, your professional qualification. You'll have opportunities to lead audit teams during all phases of the audit of lower risk entities. You'll also complete audit work on larger and more complex clients.
As an Assistant Manager, you should have at least two years' experience after achieving your professional qualification. You'll work with our larger and more complex clients and have a greater leadership role in the local office.
In both roles, you'll be working with our Audit Managers, Audit Directors, and other specialist staff, alongside colleagues who are well trained and passionate about making a difference to New Zealand.

The work schedule is generally Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. The salary range is $85,000 to $95,000 for Senior Auditors, and $110,000 to $130,000 for Assistant Managers.
