Wellington We're on the hunt for a Senior Registered Architect or Senior Architectural Designer with 10+ years of experience to join our team. We're seeking an effective and self-assured communicator who exudes confidence and has a strong sense of design. We need someone who can leverage their expert design and project management skills to drive creative solutions that are highly liveable, resilient, and economically sustainable. With the ability to communicate those solutions with clarity and precision through design and technical drawings. As our Senior Architect or Senior Architectural Designer, you will be highly skilled in effective client and consultant communication highly proficient in leading and managing projects -both from a design and delivery perspective as well as appropriate expenditure of fees confident and experienced in acting as a Design Lead and driving design teams and consultant inputs confident and experienced in acting as the key point of contact for clients and stakeholders highly skilled in generating and preparing design drawings to a high standard, and technical documentation that is rigorous, thorough and which communicates the design intent while also meeting relevant codes and standards proficient in Revit, establishing BEPs that support effective workflow and understand BIM workflows to manage complex models and their exchange across the consultant team experienced in contract administration and contract observation duties including shop drawing review and effective contractor communication Technical Skills Bachelor or Master's degree in Architecture If you're a Registered Architect that would be great, however we assess capabilities and fit, not title. 10+ years of experience in architecture, with a demonstrated track record of project leadership and driving successful design solutions. exceptional REVIT proficiency a detailed knowledge of the NZ Building Code, its application as well as NZS3604. Personal Attributes Ability to work both collaboratively and independently innovative, hard working and have a growth mindset Excellent communication and collaboration skills as well as a healthy sense of self confidence and creative problem solving ability, Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ability to work independently where required as well as delegate appropriately to design team support.
