Business Services & Corporate Advisory (Accounting) This is a senior accountant role in a medium sized accounting firm with a strong structure and a great team of people. They offer plenty of support and mentorship to grow in the areas of accounting that interest you the most. There's strong project workflow, different advisory engagements, and the opportunity to help some great kiwi business excel. If you're someone interested in management, there is the opportunity to work closely with grads and intermediates, mentoring them, helping them upskill, and reviewing their work. There is technical compliance to work on for some large entities where you will be the the relationship lead for these clients. You'll lead more advanced advisory engagements, instructing the intermediates, while having support from the managers and directors. The Position This is a hands-on position where you will have clients needing your support and problem solving skills. There's a big variety of clients from many industries and you can expect exposure to all sorts of businesses. Your core advisory responsibilities would be budgeting and forecasting, business planning, some monthly management reporting, and other project engagements. Your clients will lean on you for tax advice and structuring, and you'll have the support from more experienced specialists when you need it. As you progress, you will be increasingly involved in reviewing and managing workflow as you move towards a manager position. Flexible working environment with work from home options.
