THE OPPORTUNITY? We are looking for a seasoned coffee professional with a strong sales background, to join our New Zealand wholesale team.
This role will ideally be based in Auckland, working from our Grey Lynn roastery and will look after Auckland, and upper North Island regions.
The core purpose of this role is to seek, acquire, convert, and grow wholesale and b2b relationships, with partners who identify with our company values, love our products as well as manage a portfolio of accounts with business support and training. ?

ABOUT YOU: Enjoy proactively seeking new business sales opportunities as well as responding promptly to all account enquiries Passionate about coffee, the hospitality industry and keen to support our customers to grow a profitable and sustainable coffee businessConfident and personable with a strong ability to initiate, nurture and maintain relationships with new and existing customersIndustry insight, attention to detail and be driven in a competitive marketExcellent customer management experience within coffee or hospitality industry preferred Strong initiative, motivation and self-management skills.Able to communicate orally and in writing with a diverse range of people.Proven barista skills and basic technical knowledge of espresso machines and equipment – barista training will be part of this role. At least three years' experience in the hospitality industry including senior level barista experience and customer service / sales skillsAbility and willingness to travel throughout New Zealand (with a full driver's license) as required to meet customer training and account management expectations of our customersJoin us on our journey as we live, roast, and talk all things coffee!
Work travel will take you away from home for a few nights, several times a month, and weekend or evening work will be required occasionally (cafés aren't just 9 to 5 operations) Please consider this before you apply.
