About this role As the Sales Coordinator you will be responsible for providing internal support to the team with preparation of quotes and administration tasks.
Also, this role is the heartbeat of our customer experience. Ensuring our customers receive a welcoming and efficient resolution to their enquiry is of utmost importance. You must be passionate about going above and beyond for our clients.
This is a 'first point of contact' role meaning many of our customers first experience with our business will be with you. Ensuring this first experience with Shelving Shop is a pleasant and helpful experience is essential.
Some key responsibilities will include: Customer enquiries – incoming calls, website enquiries, face to face. Providing customers with information, pricing, and quotes. Liaise with customers and keep them informed on timeframes. Promptly resolve complaints or issues to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate files of correspondence. Provide support to internal personnel who operate locally and throughout NZ. Provide administration and general assistance to the internal team. About you We are looking for an energetic team player who is passionate, dedicated, and eager to learn. Ideally you will have a background in customer service, sales support and or administration. We don't require prior industry experience or product knowledge.
Important to this role: Excellent communication skills Customer focused High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word. Efficient time management and organisational skills. Ability to work autonomously. Positive 'can do' attitude and 'make it happen' approach. Collaborative team player with a positive and proactive approach. Enthusiasm to learn and grow within the role and accept change. Willingness to embrace company culture.
