Sales Coordinator - Asia - Full Time - Auckland Central POSITION OVERVIEW:The Sales Coordinator Asia will be responsible for assisting the Head of Sales Asia driving sales growth and increasing revenue for thl's NZ and AU tourism business. The role involves day-to-day management of existing trade partners and building new business relationships.The Sales Coordinator Asia will report directly to the Head of Asia - tourism and business development.Key Responsibilities :Assist in developing and executing a yearly sales call plan to achieve revenue targets and increase market share in Australia and New Zealand for all thlContinue to build strong relationships with existing partners and identify new opportunities.Secure new business from partners currently not booking our thlProvide training to partners under a training plan and as requested by partners for all thlLiaise closely with the Global sales and marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, product launches, and sales materials to support the B2B sales effort.Drive Kiwi Experience and Discover Waitomo sales from trade partners, growing thl 's presence in the youth tourism market.Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market developments and provide insights and recommendations to management.Prepare and present regular sales reports.Attend trade shows and events to network, build brand awareness, and generate business when required.Provide a monthly report on agents visited and topics discussed and a general update on the market for all brands.Update the trade partner CRM regularly.Required to attend the weekly conference with the Sales team.Key Requirements:Bi-lingual, Chinese-speaking candidates are preferredPersonal resilience and drive and the ability to self-motivate.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to travel as needed.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing partner accounts and building new business relationships.
