The Client:
My client is proud to create custom made products that are made right here in Auckland, enabling them to produce the products with no overheads and provide competitive prices to the customers. To ensure they are providing the best products to their customers, they have invested almost half a million dollars with the latest systems and machinery.
The role:
Due to exponential growth in the past 12months, they are growing their sales team and looking for a strong candidate with an eye for design matched with excellent sales skills. The focus of this role is to meet with clients and take them through a consultation process to ensure they are given the most appropriate products for their home. As this role will be based in the field, it is essential that the candidate is customer service focused with a natural ability to relate to customers and build a strong rapport.
Based out in the field, meeting with up to 6 clients per day
Client meetings are booked into your calendar with warm leads, however 20% of the role will require business development and generating your own leads
Robust training plan with time spent with consultants, installers, factory staff and management to ensure you understand all aspects of the role

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

Experience working within a sales focused role is essential
Someone who has charisma and exudes passion
Results orientated with strong attention to detail
Strong business acumen within the interior and furnishing sectors
Excellent communication skills to convey technical aspects into pictures that a customer will appreciate
