Retail Assistant

We are an industry leading and rapidly expanding company based in Rosedale, Auckland. We take care of all aspects of pool and spa treatment, servicing and maintenance. We are currently seeking a part time Retail Assistant to work in our store in Albany!
The ideal applicant will have some pool industry experience, but full training can be given to the right candidate.The successful applicant for this position will; Have a proven track record working in a retail environment with exceptional sales and customer service skills. Build a rapport with clients giving advice and assistance to maintain their pools to high standard. Be mature, self motivated and work well within the team. Be punctual, reliable and have good time management skills. Show initiative and enhance the retail environment using shop displays, supporting current marketing programmes and industry developments. Maintain a clean and well presented retail store and facilities for staff. Work well under pressure and be able to meet the demands of our peak season while effectively maintaining profitability in the quiet months due to the seasonal nature of our business. Be prepared to undergo further training and undertake personal development. Have an in-depth understanding of our product range and work closely with representatives from our suppliers to promote their products to the best of their ability.
This role may suit a student or parent, as the hours can be flexible for the right candidate. You will be expected to work 3-4 days per week including at least one day each weekend.
